Notary Blog: We Signed Our Agreement but Needed a Notary!

So what do you do when two parties who have mutually agreed to ‘something’, agreed to that ‘something’ on a particular date but didn’t have a required Notary’s signature, stamp or seal affixed to the statement nor an acknowledgment attached?

Well, they did want the same agreed date and document as their original, they just wanted it to be set in stone in the presence of a Notary Public.  It can be done, and was.  As to prevent plagiarism, no additional details on what operations were actually performed will be disclosed. What we can tell you is that a Jurat/Affiant Statement was completed and signed by both parties to the agreement and signed and signatures notarized by the Notary.

Tonight’s assignment was completed at Coffee Underground, 1 E. Coffee Street, Greenville, SC 29601 under pen, stamp and receipt of State of South Carolina Notary Public Sonita M Leak, Owner of GreenvilleNotary.com.

*FYI – This post has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton, is not politically motivated, the image was royalty free and we thought that it fit the tone of this post PERFECTLY!
