Notary Blog: Signing for Cat Gbedey

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to refer GREAT local businesses that provide GREAT Customer Service.  I’d like to introduce Cat Gbedey (and I know I’m forgetting some French accents in that name somewhere).

Cat is the Owner of Purosoy Candles.  How are her candles different from your ordinary wick?  After you hear the better qualities of burning with soy, you will never want to visit the ‘Wicked Wick’ again!

As described in the Why Puro page, soy candles exhibit the following qualities:

“Unlike petroleum based paraffin, Puro Soy candles use natural, renewable soy. Soy beans are grown throughout the world and provide a natural alternative to carcinogenic petroleum products. Our wicks are also 100% lead-free. We only use renewable cotton wicks in all our candles.

While all candles release some amount of soot when burned, soy wax produces a lighter, less irritating soot than paraffin. The effect is a non-toxic, better product for the environment, as well as your lungs.

Biodegradable soy beans have a wonderful secret: when used as a wax base, they produce a long, steady burn. When compared to other paraffin candles, this means your Puro Soy candle will last longer and burn more efficiently. Get ready for days of good scents!

The slow burn time of soy means that the scent is released more gradually into the air. The gentle release creates a subtle atmosphere of fragrance that helps transform the mood in any environment.”

The signing involved a typewritten statement of Ms. Gbedey and was completed within minutes.  Assignment carried out by GreenvilleNotary.com Owner and State of South Carolina Notary Public Signing Agent Sonita M. Leak on the evening of Friday, December 9, 2016. Puro Soy Candles is located at 1279 Pendleton Street, Greenville, South Carolina 29611.
