An out-of-state resident sought a notary within Greenville County limits for both a General and Durable Power of Attorney in behalf of his mother.
Unfamiliar with the process, the parties were very apprehensive about Notary Public Signing Agent Sonita Leak’s inked notary stamp, being used to having documents notarized with the pressed embosser that imprints the paperwork.
This happens quite often, however, many notaries public are moving away from the embosser and to the inked version of the stamp due to frequent requests from companies wanting notarized documents to be faxed, scanned and emailed and otherwise delivered with clear, readable ink.
If you, as a signer, come across a notary public with only an inked stamp, know that it is A-OK to have your document stamped instead of pressed by the embosser! And when you get it done, come to GreenvilleNotary.com!
This assignment was performed by Certified Notary Public Signing Agent and GreenvilleNotary.com Owner Sonita M. Leak on August 5, 2015 inside of the Subway at Wal-Mart Supercenter, 6134 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
