Today, Friday, June 15, 2018, is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.  All over the world, we recognize one day out of the year to bring what is known as ‘Elder Abuse’ to light, right?  Um. No.

Elder Abuse occurs on a daily basis all around the world.  Age and lack of physical capability puts Senior Citizens at risk of being abused, not just physically, but financially, emotionally and psychologically by others.

If you feel you, as a Senior Citizen, or someone you know and love is being abused, you can follow the channels below to seek help.  If you feel it is an emergency, it is best to contact law enforcement.
