Did you know that it’s Fire Prevention Week? Yes, this week take some time out each day to either teach or refresh the protocol in your home or school.
Every year on October 9, 2018, we practice our school fire drills because it’s Fire Prevention Day. Well, what about all the other days of the year? Yes, there are certain areas of the country that are more prevalent in experiencing fires, for instance, the State of California with its forest fire vulnerability.
However, no matter where you are or what you’re doing, knowing what to do if you see yourself or your children facing fire can be the difference between catastrophe, chaos or survival.
Practice fire drills and escape routes at home, just as they do at school. Knowing what to do should a fire occur is important!
