Notary Blog: Storms May Come and Storms May Go, but the Notary is Always ‘IN’

This post was written in Anderson, South Carolina. While sitting composing this post today, I learned that Anderson was the first city in the south to have electric power lines, hence its nickname, ‘The Electric City’ (and inspiration for our lightning bolt featured image). Michael at (read the full article for location information), thank you for this little tid bit about the City of Anderson!
Thanks to all of the crew members, especially Kendra, my server, for keeping me company while alternate moves had to be made today.

Notary Blog: Online I9 at Greenville Memorial

oday’s transaction was on behalf of Kelly Services, yes the same Kelly Services that provides temporary placements for workers. Although there is a local Kelly Services office (located off of Garlington Road right here in Greenville), this work order arrived directly from Kelly Services Headquarters in Troy Michigan. Notary Blog: What I’ve Learned in the Past Week

I could, in my position as a Notary Public, provide a service that is convenient, quick and professional in manner and conduct my activities as if it were strictly that. However, being the person that I am, I would feel as if I were doing a family a disservice by not upholding the supportive role I hold dear in empathizing and providing condolence when a family feels as though no one understands what they are going through.

Sometimes the monotony of a hospital room or an assisted-living apartment creates a depressing environment, and if I can be that person to cheer them up for that very moment, it was all worth it.

Notary Blog: Second Visit to the Haven

A very complex, private assignment was carried out at this location on the afternoon of Friday, December 23, 2016. Notary Blog: Private Authorization at Coffee Underground

Sometimes, yes sometimes signers make their requests known by email.  This was such the case for a quick in-and-out signing held at Coffee Underground, Monday, October 17, 2016. A local party needed an authorization performed for a private document and could not, for the life of her, find a notary public or any other suggested

Notary Blog: Private Signing at Downtown Coffee-House

Notary Blog: Sikes and Fake Writing at Spill the Beans

Yes, today, there was a lot of fake writing going on.  Walk into this very busy Downtown Greenville coffee-house and you usually see actual writing going on, but on this particular day, things were a little peculiar. The thing is, both of their signatures required notarization. So what does our local

Notary Blog: Taking Shots for the Photographer

So what do you do when two parties who have mutually agreed to ‘something’, agreed to that ‘something’ on a particular date but didn’t have a required Notary’s signature, stamp or seal affixed to the statement nor an acknowledgment attached? Well, they did want the same agreed date and document as their original, they just
