The third assignment of the day deserves its own post, but we’ll just sit it right here. A Flash Ceremony and Marriage License signing was conducted in the late Afternoon at the Hyatt Regency Dining Hall of the Second Floor. Congrats are in order to Ricky Burton and Janneth Guevara-Rodriguez who were joined in Holy Matrimony. All this during the Hyatt Wedding Festivals, how ironic!

Notary Public Blog of Sonita M. Leak, CNSA | Rocking in the New Year with a Resolution

It would be presumptuous for me to tell others to make a resolution list, especially since I don’t make them myself.  I haven’t for many, many years. As a matter of fact, someone asked me JUST YESTERDAY what resolutions I had for the New Year 2018.  My reply was not what they expected.  I told them I didn’t have any and that if I resolve to do something, that it is for the long haul and that there is no ‘resolution’ for that. Read the post for some AWESOME Resolution Ideas from various sources.

Notary Blog of Sonita M. Leak, CNSA | Happy National Bosses’ Day – For Bosses with Employees and Those Without

Every National Bosses’ Day is a special day for me.  It is a day where I can celebrate being my own Boss to both my Notary Service and Wedding Officiant businesses.  When I began my journey, there were so many naysayers.  I had people that I thought were in my corner saying that I needed

Notary Blog: “Did You Know That Notaries in South Carolina Could Marry Couples?”

With prior scheduling, most couples look to their Pastor or a local Minister to marry them. Many of the local Ministers and Pastors are also Notaries Public. They, with proper ordainment, already have the authority to marry these couples. Some couples choose to have a large formal ceremony. Some couples choose to have a small elopement before their larger ceremony. Some, just want the no-frills paperwork signing. If by chance you want the quick route to marriage, or if you just want to legalize the process before your ‘Big Shebang’ Ceremony later, a Notary Public might be your better option.

Notary Blog: It’s Valentine’s Day and We’re In Love!

Although February 14, 2017 is all booked up for weddings, it’s not too late to get in there for the year 2017. I am available for Impromptu On-the-Spot Wedding and Marriage Ceremonies (although prior planning prevents poor performance) all the way to Formal Ceremonies. Also, never discount other holidays or occasions for your Marriage Ceremony.

Notary Blog: Marriage on a Carriage

I am looking to feature you. This has been quite a journey, none that would be accomplished without you, my fabulous Brides and Grooms!
The Plan: To have at least one couple featured on WeddingsbySonita.com each and every day of the year.
What else? Have a business? You know I will feature that too, as I am one for supporting local business (which I’m really passionate about).
