New Blog Post: Notary for Emergency Simple Letter w/ Accompanying Acknowledgment and Jurat Statements

On Wednesday, February 18, 2015, a little after 9pm, a local Anderson, SC resident called regarding an item needing a notary’s signature verifying identity of a signer to a document.  Well, there was a catch, the signer had since lost her photo identification, however needed her document notarized ASAP.  Who did they call? GreenvilleNotary.com, of course!

If you, as a signer or party to a document, have misplaced your photo ID, have no fear.  With the statement of two or more parties vouching for your identity (with their OWN valid form of government-issued ID of course), you still have the ability to get your document notarized.  This was an exigent circumstance in which the signer saw no resolution.

If you have lost your identification or have had your identity stolen and are seeking an avenue to have your paperwork notarized, just know that there is a way.

Oh, by the way, this notarization was completed by Certified Notary Public Signing Agent Sonita M. Leak at Grill Marks of 209 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601.  Don’t get this confused with the old UPS address of 209 North Main Street, which now houses another local business.
