Notary Public Blog and Podcast of Sonita M. Leak, CNSA | An 8-Year Anniversary Letter of Thanks

Greetings All,

As today marks my 8th year as a Notary Public here in the State of South Carolina,  I want to thank God first and foremost for carrying me through. My journey here in this place is not over yet, but I know with God on my side that nothing that stands in my way shall succeed.

I want to say a big whopping ‘Thank You’ to all who have been a part of my journey.  I will be honest, I had no idea that something I am so passionate about could be so fulfilling.  It has been quite the excursion, but I would not have done anything different.  Wait, maybe a few things, but overall, I’ve gone through a lot to get here.  My testimony is powerful and I have hidden many of the trials I have been through from others. Ultimately,  it doesn’t really matter what I have been through to get here.  I just relish in the fact that I am here.

I have met many through the work that I am so deeply passionate about.  They have also left marks on me that will carry me until I breathe my last breath here on Earth.

I want to thank those influencers, my Mother Peggy, for first believing that I could quit my job and do this thing called Notary Signing Agency on my own.  Mommy, I love you with my whole heart.

I want to thank my children, Lianna, Mary, Lelya, Justice, John and LJ for standing by their Mother’s side, through everything we’ve gone through as a family and in the work that I chose to pursue.

I want to thank those who mentored me throughout the entire process.  Some who held my hand and had faith in me when I didn’t have the faith myself.  Just think if I had quit in the midst, went back to that 9 to 5 and remained unhappy.

I will say that favor has been upon my life and I am grateful for all of it.  It’s not just my 8-year Anniversary as a Notary Public, it’s a celebration for all that I have been honored to help in all of those years.

Love and Blessings,

Sonita M. Leak
