Notary Blog: Spousal Consent and a Wash

Positioned directly across from one of my favorite eating spots in Greenville (OJ’s Diner), it just so happened that on the morning of October 20, 2016, two local parties originally scheduled to meet at the diner, met with Owner Sonita Leak at the car wash instead.

The appointment scheduled with a local husband and wife was for a Spousal Consent form to be signed by the holder of the instrument, however, the spouse had to sign as well (this depends on your state and whether it is a Right of Survivorship state).

What better way to spend time signing documents other than while your car is being serviced at your customer’s car wash?  Owner Dick Wong, thank you for the wonderful job your crew did on my vehicle, also, for calling me in your time of a need a few days before.  We’re glad we could assist!

Should you need notary service at odd hours, or have an exigent case of paperwork that needs signing on YOUR schedule, call 864.214.6447. Signed. Sealed. Delivered.

The signing was completed by State of South Carolina Notary Public Sonita M. Leak.
