Notary Blog: A Sunday Wedding and Three Notarizations |

The weekend is a time to enjoy spending quality time with family, friends and loved ones.  What happens when you run a business and have to include serving customers?

You make it work.  The first customers of the day were a young Homestead at Hartness Community couple who wanted to get married without all the frills and fluff – in fact, they were fresh celebrating the birth of their son, just 9 days old!

Our second signing involved a Repeat Customer and their mother (now a new customer of ours), for a decedent document.  The signing occurred in the home of the customer, just off of Woodruff and Scuffletown Roads of Simpsonville, South Carolina. This assignment took approximately 30 minutes to complete.

The third signing of the day involved two parties involved in a Vehicle Title Transfer for a South Carolina vehicle title to a State of North Carolina seller.  The transaction involved sending a particular statement to one of the parties and having it printed before the transaction. This assignment took approximately 45 minutes to complete.

The fourth signing of the day involved a signer who needed her signature notarized on a birth certificate request for another state, however, had lost idenany other type of photo identification.  The signing took place at Jason’s Deli off of Haywood Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
