Thanks to Superior Notary Services, a North Carolina resident and his family signed off on a new home purchase. As you may or may not know, because South Carolina is an attorney state, notaries here cannot close on South Carolina real property transactions. An attorney MUST be present and close on these transactions. However, with a mobile home, there is an exception. Well, it’s not really an exception. A mobile home is considered a vehicle and not real property, therefore, notaries in this state have the ability to notarize the transfer of these vehicles.
