Notary for Power of Attorney for Vehicle Impounded Out of State

On the afternoon of Thursday, August 13, 2015, an Ohio resident was assisted with an Affiant Statement, requesting that a relative act as her agent for a vehicle impounded in another state registered in her name.

If you have ever owned a vehicle and either allowed another person to use or lease the vehicle and it happened to be towed and you, the actual owner did not have the ability to appear at the impound yard, a simple Power of Attorney request might be the way to go.

The Power of Attorney gave the relative on the other end the ability to act on behalf of the vehicle owner in matters of release of the vehicle.

This assignment was completed by Certified Notary Public Signing Agent Sonita M. Leak.
