An elopement marriage ceremony was performed on the morning of Monday, June 29, 2015 on behalf of two Georgia residents. The ceremony was officiated by Certified Notary Public Signing Agent Sonita M. Leak. For those who are interested in getting married in the State of South Carolina, you must follow these guidelines.
The couple married today visited the Greenville County Probate Court office well in advance of their nuptials. Did you know that once you pick up your license from the office in which you applied, it remains available for both parties to marry for as long as they hold it. Saying this, once the parties are married, either by a valid member of clergy or a notary public, the license/certificate must be turned into the probate office or mailed to the probate office in which it originated within 15 days.
